The Reason the Company is Named “Bound-Oxygen”

“Bound Oxygen Products” does not create Free Radicals.

The active ingredient of the Bound Oxygen Range is Food Grade Hydrogen Peroxide (H2O2), Hydrogen Peroxide was first identified and isolated by the scientist Louis Jacques Thenard in 1818. It is used as an oxidizerbleaching agent, and antiseptic. It has been used as a would antiseptic for many years but was discontinued because it has a scarring effect. The reason for the scarring is that the Hydrogen Peroxide used was too strong, and it would “burn” the wound, they call it free radicals, it does good things, but unfortunately also bad things.

The biggest problem with Hydrogen Peroxide is the chain reaction that happens, once it starts it does not stop till all the oxygen has been released. So, it is like an explosion inside the water, and it’s this reaction that does the damage.

This all happens because the Hydrogen Peroxide has a week bond between the water and the oxygen molecule. “Bound Oxygen” strengthens this bond, so now the good still happens, but not the bad. Now the Oxygen is Bound!

The New Research

They have found that Hydrogen Peroxide between 0.03% (300ppm) to 0.5% (5000ppm) has an accelerated wound healing effect.

Bound Oxygen Ingredients – BO2 Nasal Spray

Diluted Food Grade Hydrogen Peroxide 0.065% (650ppm)

  • Bound Oxygen is a mild Antiseptic, and it is the extra molecule of oxygen that cleans and neutralizes viruses/fungi/molds/anaerobic bacteria.
  • Hydrogen Peroxide neutralizes Biofilm – Biofilm, an aggregate of bacteria held together by a mucus-like matrix of carbohydrate that adheres to a surface. Biofilms can form on the surfaces of liquids, solids, and living tissues, such as those of animals and plants. There is a lot of Biofilm in the sinuses and is one of the causes of Sinusitis, and other recurring illnesses.
  • Hydrogen Peroxide hydrolyses – is any chemical reaction in which a molecule of water ruptures one or more chemical bonds. This means it is exceptionally good at getting rid of mucus, dissolving it, and at the same time killing all the germs inside it.
  • Hydrogen Peroxide cleans away dead cells, and so cleans wounds, this helps with wound healing. There are two ways in which wounds heal – without oxygen, and with oxygen and with oxygen the wounds heal much faster. Mild “Bound Oxygen” ads this oxygen.

Vegetable Glycerine 0.0065 (65ppm)

Vegetable glycerin is widely available in a number of plant oils, such as coconut, soy, and palm oil, and is the polyol molecule that forms the backbone of glyceride lipids.

  • Research shows that applying glycerin to your skin may gradually improve its smoothness and suppleness.
  • Vegetable glycerin may lead to better skin health by helping soothe skin irritation, protect against infection and promote wound healing.
  • Glycerin can moisturize and soften the skin, due to its lubricant and emollient qualities, and also prevent dryness and irritation.
  • It promotes wound healing on the skin and also establishes a protective barrier against damage from the wind, sun, and potential microbes to which you’re exposed.
  • When used optical it has the ability to improve the absorption of other substances, like Hydrogen Peroxide.
  • Glycerin can reduce the sensation of itchiness and thus prevent additional inflammation.
  • The antibacterial qualities of glycerin on the skin mean that it can gently prevent future breakouts of pimples and acne.

Green Tee Extract – 0.002% (20ppm)

  • When applied to the skin, green tea extract has been shown to improve skin health.
  • Green Tea Extract can help treat a variety of skin problems, such as dermatitis, rosacea, and warts.
  • Topical application of green tea extract seems to help prevent skin conditions like loss of skin elasticity, inflammation, premature aging, and cancer caused by exposure to UV rays.

Bound Oxygen Ingredients – BO2 Throat Spray

Diluted Food Grade Hydrogen Peroxide 1% (10 000ppm)

This Bound Oxygen Throat Spray is sprayed into the mouth, the mouth can handle a bit stronger dilution of Hydrogen Peroxide. With the Throat Spray the goal is cleaning and neutralizing of bacteria, viruses and fungi.

  • Bound Oxygen is a mild Antiseptic, and it is the extra molecule of oxygen that cleans and neutralise viruses/fungi/moulds/anaerobic bacteria.
  • Bound Oxygen mixes with your saliva, and so the concentration Hydrogen Peroxide is diluted even more.
  • Hydrogen Peroxide neutralise Biofilm – Biofilm, aggregate of bacteria held together by a mucuslike matrix of carbohydrate that adheres to a surface. Biofilms can form on the surfaces of liquids, solids, and living tissues, such as those of animals and plants. There are a lot of Biofilm’s on your teeth, it is called plaque. Plaque and tartar start to slowly build up on the teeth surface. The plaque accumulation will come to a point when it hardens and form a dental calculus. This is what the hard white stuff is.
  • Hydrogen Peroxide cleans away dead cells, and so cleans wounds, this helps with wound healing. I you have bleeding and inflamed gums, then this will assist in the healing process.

Vegetable Glycerine 0.1% (1000ppm)

Allergic reactions – Is very rare as it contains only – 1000ppm – Veg Glycerin.

Green Tee Extract – 0.02% (200ppm)

  • When applied to the skin, green tea extract has been shown to improve skin health.
  • Green Tea Extract can help treat a variety of skin problems, such as dermatitis, rosacea, and warts.
